The short version. We collect only what's needed to send you The Four newsletter and, in the app, to search and book flights. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads. Your full card number is never seen or stored by FourFlights.
This policy covers the FourFlights website and newsletter ("The Four") and the FourFlights iOS app ("FourFlights," "we," "us"). By using them you agree to this policy.
The Four newsletter
Your email address. When you subscribe, we store your email with MailerLite, our email service provider, and use it for one thing: sending you The Four. Unsubscribe with one click in any edition and we stop; you can also ask us to delete your address entirely.
Replies. If you reply to an edition, your message goes to Peter's inbox and is used only to answer you and improve the newsletter.
Affiliate links. Some flight links in the newsletter and on this site are affiliate links (via Travelpayouts/Aviasales). If you book through one, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you — it never changes your price.
The app: information we collect
Search details. The origin, destination, dates, and number of travelers you enter, so we can find flights for you.
Traveler & booking details (only when you book). The information the airline requires to issue a ticket — such as each traveler's name, date of birth, contact email and phone, and, where required, passport or identity document details. You provide this, and we send it to our flight-booking provider, Duffel, and the relevant airline to complete your booking.
Payment information. Card details are entered into a secure payment form provided by our PCI-compliant payment providers (Stripe, via Duffel). FourFlights never receives or stores your full card number, expiry date, or security code.
App-integrity data. We use Apple's App Attest to confirm requests come from a genuine, untampered copy of the app. This helps prevent fraud and does not identify you personally.
Limited on-device data. The app keeps your booking details in memory only and does not save your personal or payment information to your device's storage. Some non-sensitive preferences (for example, recent searches or seat and bag choices) may be stored locally to improve your experience.
How we use your information
To send you The Four, if you subscribed.
To search for flights and show you results and prices.
To complete the bookings you ask us to make and send you confirmations.
To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
To detect and prevent fraud and keep the service secure.
To meet legal, accounting, and airline requirements.
How your information is shared
We share information only as needed to provide the service: with MailerLite to deliver the newsletter; with Duffel and the relevant airlines and payment processors to search, price, and complete bookings; with Apple for app-integrity checks; and when required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data retention
We keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and we minimize the personal information we store.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have additional rights over your data. To make a request, email support@fourflights.app.
Children
FourFlights is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Payment details are handled by PCI-compliant providers, requests are verified with Apple App Attest, and we deliberately minimize the personal data we store. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date at the top.
